At the close of Q1, unanchored retail vacancy dropped below total vacancy for the first time on record. Unanchored vacancy has been on a downward trend for the last 2 years and is currently the lowest level since 2002.

Total retail vacancy saw an increase in March after the closure of Shopko (95,400 SF) on Fairview Avenue in Boise.  Total vacancy is expected to increase even higher over the next couple of months with the closure of the last two remaining Shopko stores – on Boise's Broadway Ave. and in Nampa.

Hughes Fire Equipment, Inc. leased 8,900 square feet of industrial space at 1524 Freedom Avenue in Caldwell.

SirJag Productions, LLC purchased a 2,400 square foot office condominium in Fairview Plaza West, located at 10200 W. Fairview Avenue in Boise.

The Donut+Dog leased 1,859 square feet of retail space in The Village at Meridian, located at 1900 N. Eagle Road in Meridian.

Transmark Logistics, Inc. renewed their 6,083 square feet of industrial space in Victory Building I, located at 2962 S. Victory View Way in Boise.
