Vacant retail spaces are back-filling throughout the country featuring a variety of new users: furniture stores, trampoline parks, grocery stores, and public markets. Public markets, or food halls, are a new trend sweeping the entire country. The markets provide a local gathering place for patrons to eat, drink, and shop. Idaho's first public market, CHOW Public Market & Eatery, opened this summer in a vacant 7,200 SF space at the Boise Spectrum.
