SUBLEASE TRENDS
Available sublease space increased by nearly 100,000 square feet in May 2026, ending the second quarter at 549,000 square feet. This marks the first time sublease inventory has exceeded 500,000 square feet since December 2024 and represents a 35 percent increase from June 2025. Sublease availability has trended upward since April of last year, suggesting some tenants continue to reevaluate their long-term space needs even as the broader office market remains fundamentally stable.
TOTAL AVAILABLE SUBLEASE SPACE rose to 549,000 SF in Q2, UP 35% year over year.
SUBLEASE SPACE exceeded 500,000 SF for the first time since DECEMBER 2024.
