COMMERCIAL LAND CONSIDERATION
Commercial land transaction activity also strengthened, with total consideration increasing 22 percent compared with the previous 12 months. Retail remained the leading property type, accounting for 45 percent of total commercial land consideration, reflecting continued demand for sites serving the valley’s growing population. Meridian recorded the highest number of commercial land transactions, while Nampa led in total acreage sold. Together, the permitting and land sales data indicate that while overall development activity has become more selective, significant investment continues across the valley.
