Brennen attended Carroll College where he studied and played football while working toward his degree.

Brennen and his wife live in Coeur d’Alene and enjoy experiencing the great outdoors of the Northwest. He received All-State receiver recognition in high school and now, in his spare time, he plays semi-professional football and volunteers at his church.
