Thornton Oliver Keller welcomed Tammie Whyte as a brokerage services specialist in 2016. Tammie brings a wealth of business, legal and real estate experience as she represents her commercial real estate clients. She enjoys an excellent reputation within Eastern Idaho’s business community. Her strong work ethic, professional expertise, clear focus, attention to detail and tenacious commitment in representing her clients’ interests make her a key member of Thornton Oliver Keller’s commercial brokerage team. Tammie specializes in leasing and selling retail, office and industrial commercial real estate.
Tammie holds her Juris Doctorate degree and began her professional career handling various types of litigation matters, both civil and criminal. In 2003 Tammie became Manager and Legal Counsel for Idaho Title & Trust, Inc., a title insurance company in Southeastern Idaho. She served in that role for 6 years. During that time, she practiced in all areas of real estate law including matters related to the clearing of title issues on real property, closing issues, foreclosures and real estate contractual matters. In addition, she handled the all the managerial duties and business processes for Idaho Title. In 2009 Tammie established TDW Law Contract Services, Inc. Her company has done extensive work with companies involved in the servicing and liquidation of distressed assets. Tammie worked closely with the principals and employees of ANB Venture, LLC and Kingston Management Services, LLC, helping them in all aspects of the liquidation of a $1.2 Billion portfolio of loan assets from a failed bank. Her duties have included not only the oversight of legal services for those assets, in 17 states, but also, close work with and participation in the business processes of the companies and FDIC audits of the portfolio.
Tammie completed her undergraduate work at Fort Lewis College, in Durango, Colorado in 1987. She worked as a paralegal for several years. Tammie then attended Creighton University Law School, in Omaha, Nebraska and received a Juris Doctorate degree in 1992.
